Born in Kiruna, Rickard has already spent three summers in a row working at SMA Mineral as a student, but joins us now from LKAB. Thanks to relatives in Västerås, the town isn’t entirely foreign to him, but it’s certainly different to Kiruna.

Rickard sees his new position as General Manager as an opportunity he just could not say no to.

“There are interesting challenges and many exciting things to learn,” he says. There are several exciting projects going on. The job itself is also very varied, which I like.”

“And it also feels great to be part of the SMA team, with all the skills and know-how it possesses.”
