Troitza
The lime works in Troitza was acquired by SMA Mineral in 1999 and is located 18 km from the city of Shumen in north-east Bulgaria. It is based around a limestone deposit, with two lime kilns and a hydrating plant for the production of slaked lime. Its products are used in combined heat and power plants, water treatment plants, agriculture and the construction industry.
