Under its Cresco brand, SMA Mineral has a wide range of lime products for all types of soils. The right lime dosage ensures maximum growth: it raises pH levels, binds growth-inhibiting aluminium in the soil, allows plants to become better established with an extensive root system and provides for optimum nutrient supply, increasing the winter hardiness of plants.
In soils with high base saturation, it also reduces the need for fertiliser, nitrogen and phosphorus by up to 10 percent and lime also adds important nutrients such as calcium and magnesium.
