Change in Focus at This Year’s Conference

In mid-September, employees from SMA Mineral gathered for an engaging and inspiring conference, centered around a clear message from the Greek philosopher Heraclitus: “There is nothing permanent except change.” Change is a constant factor, and the main theme of the conference was how we, as an organization and as individuals, can best manage and adapt to these changes.

Guest speaker Christina Stielli shared valuable insights on what matters most during a transition and how we can embrace the new.

During the conference, key business updates were discussed. We reflected on changes since last year’s conference, including new hires, the closure of Gåsgruvan, and the implementation of our new ERP system. The technology and product development teams presented our ZEQL project, providing a comparison between our current production and the advancements the project has brought. We also reviewed our vision and strategy, ongoing business operations, and results from Winningtemp – our tool for measuring employee satisfaction.

Between presentations, there was time for relaxing and energizing activities such as Zumba and yoga.

The conference can be summed up as a fantastic combination of reflection, development, and togetherness.
