SMA Mineral's business idea is to refine carbonate stone into mineral products tailored to customer requirements. The raw material is crushed and screened to the desired dimensions. The carbonate stone can also be calcined and, where applicable, hydrated.

ZEQL – For Climate-Neutral Lime

Together with the greentech company SaltX Technology, we are working side by side to develop an electrified process for producing climate-neutral lime.
The concept is called ZEQL (Zero Emission Quicklime).

This project is a central part of our environmental efforts and will be a top priority in the coming years.
